Susan's Story
After school Marv and I stopped by Mr. Tinseth's room. Mr. Gustafson was leaning against the door jam with one leg relaxed while putting all his weight on his other leg. Without thinking, I used my right knee and rammed it into the back of his knee. He collapsed to the floor! Marv and I ran and didn't stop until we were off school property... Mr. Gustafson never, ever said a word to me about it, nor turned me in! What a teacjer!
STEAM? What steam? Really, I talk to my sister Barbara and other friends on the phone..
The wildest thing i did in school? Get pregnant! I've never been able to forget it!
Inspiration; from within
For the first 52 1/2 years of my life I lived in Central Point where Marv and I raised our four kids. We did have a brief move to Corvallis but returned to Central Point. I moved to Roseburg in '02.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the downstair garge into a rec room and add on a bedroom ...Expand for more
and bath upstairs. My dream home would be in the woods by a river or lake.
Not to have more!
Your children never stop needing you; in different ways than when they were little; to just listen to them..
If I won $100 million, I'd give one tenth of it to charity, then spend the rest on paying off my house, invest most of it and help my girls buy a house.
I went back to college at 35 and I loved it... My degree is in Psycology which I hope to use while writing... It was a wonderful experience and I, along with most non traditional students, ruined the curve for the younger students...
I would like to write that best seller..
For a brief time (4 years), I was in the cattle business; buying and selling some while raising a small herd in order to meet the requirements to keep our farm on greenbelt. I met lots of interesting ranchers who willingly shared their knowledge.
I survived breast cancer.
This would take a book!
