Sueellen's Story
I haven't made it to a single reunion 'til our 50th, but have such fond memories of our gang of friends who shared so many years of school, parties, plays, music, trips, overnights, clubs, talents and trials. I think we were incredibly lucky to have grown up together in such a wonderful place.
It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do in life. I stayed in school as long as I could (graduate studies at Berkeley, art schools in NYC) then tried theatre, teaching, publishing. Lived in lots of places, even in a trailer and a sailboat. Took all my animals with...Expand for more

My ex and I moved west when I was 40, ended up in Seattle, and fell in love with it. I decided to try to make a living at being an animal artist. It worked; for almost 30 years I've made my living doing what I love most-- painting the dogs, cats, wild birds and mammals that have graced my life.
I met Richard Lyon l6 years ago and we are cozily tucked away in a greenbelt in Seattle. Not having had children of my own, I married into a family with four sons, their wives, and a whole bunch of grandchildren. It is a very full, rich life and I am grateful for it.
