One of Barbara's favorite quotes is:"Two things I hate... Girls that can not make decisions with confidence but instead rather ignore the situation hoping it will go away... AND drama with insecure people because there is never a solution with those people.... -ME The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: "If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?" But... the good Samaritan reversed the question: "If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?" Martin Luther King, Jr. "To judge if someone is worth it you have to look at what they value in life unconditionally even in tough times not what feels good to value at the moment..." -Brett LeFever "Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be" John Wooden "Whenever you see a successful person you only see the public glories, never the private sacrifices to reach them." - Greg Evans "Besides Slavery, Facism, Nazism, and Communism War Never solved anything" "Well, I think it’s important only because the man on the street in the Middle East, you know, believes that he — a lot of people believe that he is on the right track and that he is some sort of a folk hero and that sort of thing. And I think it’s necessary to bring him down, one way or another. I will confess to you that, you know, one of the statements that’s been attributed to me that I’m sort of proud of is somebody said, you know, "What do we do about Osama bin Laden?" And they asked me, "Can we forgive him?" And I said, "Forgiveness is up to God. I just ...Expand for more
hope we hurry up the meeting." And that’s the way I feel about him, really" -Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf". More about Barbara:"I used to live in Orange County (Newport Beach) and it is a nice place to live because of the weather and the upper class way of living. I plan on leaving and moving somewhere in the south some day. The OC was a fun place to live for a few years but I can tell you that I would never raise a family there and I needed a new experience so its time to move on... Its almost like a Hollywood life style I think in a sense that it is a place that you would never find a long term relationship as I think people in the OC become side tracked on what the real important things are in life and go to things that are more materialistic and/or temporary; although it took me along time to realize this. I really believe though that life is all about life experiences and making mistakes; BUT learning from them. I think its important to keep your life on track with the important things in life like Family, my career, and moving forward in life. I am now in Hermosa Beach which is nice and I love the beach. I do like the party scene but I am staying focused on the important things now to keep me moving forward. I spent most of my life in Newbury Park, it was ok in the High School years, but then I moved on as I should...THANK GOD!!!!! I have to say that my number one priority is my family. When I look at people in relationships, those people that do not value their family through hard times and good times generally will not value you in the end and will not stay with you when they have challenges thrown in front of them. Both my parents are ex-cops; so yes growing up my parents knew everything (or they thought they did, lol).BUT the law enforcement family was and is the best to grow up in and it was always there and will continue for my immediate family and I when they things ever got bad.".
