Susan's Story
Kevin and I were married in march, 2008. We have been together for five years, we have 8 children (4 his and 4 mine) and one granddaughter. Kevin is a milk truck driver and farmer; I am semi-retired; I work all day on the farm taking care of the 4-legged friends. We have a 300 acre farm that produces hay, straw, soybeans and beef. We recently added pigs to the bunch for personal consumption. Since high school, I lived at home and graduated from Keystone Business School in Springfield. each Bottom. The girls and I had some tough times after my divorce in 2000. Since then, Kevin and I have grown together and truly enjoy the farm. We enjoy camping with our 34 foot travel trailer and have had the opportunity to see most of the Eastern United States. We started to raise steers. We add to the bunch about once a month and are up to 38 and two heffers in the crowd. I was lucky enough to receive a beautiful retired race horse and I really enjoy taking care of him. All the kids get involved with farming - hard to believe an Upper Darby girl now a farm babe! I welcome any notes from anyone. It is great to see that so many remember me.
