Susan's Story
Life
A month after graduation (1978) I married my husband Bill Browning (a 1973 MV grad). In 1980 we had a beautiful daughter Brittany who graduated from Southern Methodist law school in May '05. She was married in July, 2003 and made me a grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters in March, 2008 and another in Sept., 2011. They all live in Dallas. My husband and I live about 30 minutes north of Dallas in the city of McKinney. We live on 6 acres with dozens of trees a pond and a creek. We share our home with my mother, brother, and 3 Shih Tzus. and bobcats. Bill owns two businesses (electronic hardware)with one branch in Texas and two branches in California and he is also a commercial and residential property developer/builder. I worked with him for a number of years but pursued a position outside of the "family" business. I left my career of 4 years as a compensation analyst to return to school. I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BA in Advertising Management in December of 2003. We have traveled all over the world, but my favorite places so far are England, Alaska, St. Petersburg, Russia, the South of France, and Bora Bora. I would love to hear from other Monte Vista grads!
