Life
2009 STILL MARRIED AFTER 31 YEARS!!!Graduated from Georgia Baptist in '78 as an RN. Married in '78. Daughter born in '82. Was NICU Nurse at SGMC for 3 years. Lived in Texas & Alaska while husband was in Army. Moved back to Jax and settled in '86. Worked both for the Navy and the Corps of Engineers. Daughter, Jennifer AKA wild child, graduated from Ed White in 2000. Then she contined her education and graduated from UNF, She got married and in Oct 07 I became a Grandmother. Now my husband and I are parents to 3 Pekingnese dogs and 1 Pomeranian (our daughter left him when she moved out).
Our grandson, named Christian just turned one this yr. 08. He is so cute that it is hard to believe. Also, this year (08) we celebrated 30 yrs of marriage. Not always a bed of roses and sometimes a rocky road!
I wish we had stayed in Alaska and would like to go back. It is truly such a Magical place.
I have gone thru the names of the people from my class on here and I am surprised how many I do not remember. Oh well, I never was good with names.
Its too bad they block the names on this site, I do have a MySpace page.
I always wanted to be a WRITER/ARTIST when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a STUPID idea. As it turns out, they were WRONG. NURSING WAS NOT THE CAREER FOR ME.

My hero is my Dad, he is such a great person and I wish all my relatives were like him.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a second floor. My dream home would be cabin in the mountains.

My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be OLD. I was so completely Half-right.

Sharon, in high school, she was in Physics with me and we just liked to talk. I wish I had been more outgoing in high school, seems I was always doing something with the Chorus and no time for anything else.
My first job was at J C Penneys, where I got paid $1.75 to be a clerk. What I remember most about it is My feet hurt....I also had my first date with a guy who worked there.
Parents divorced and we moved to Florida and left Daddy in GA. I have never gotten over this. Unfortunately, my last name changed because my parents were stupid and could not get it together. Sometimes life is a Biach!
The one person I would most like to see is Tom because I didn't let him take me to the prom when he probably would have. Sorry.!!! I would also like to see Bill Coppenger, he was a great pal and the smartest kid I knew.
Which teacher would I like to see? The guy who taught Calculus, can't remember his name. I'd have a few words for him.
its now 2012, our grandson is five and has a new baby sister named Charlotte, born November 2012.
It is now 2020. Wow who would have thought things could be like this. The covig-19 virus has everyone scared. Since this was last written, Jennifer has moved with her husband and my 2 grandchildren to Maryland. I miss seeing them. I have now been married for almost 42 years. Mike has retired from trucking. I lost my precious Pekingnese, Wendy and our beloved Pomeranian Georgie. I remember high school and think has it really been 46 years? Life is slower now and I must say I like it.
June 2020 My Dad died 2 weeks ago. He was always a stabilizing person for me and would always listen to my problems. He was my hero and I will greatly miss him.
November 2020. My Sister Cathy Armour Roth died unexpectedly on Nov. 20. She was a 1978 grad of Ed White. Condolences may be left at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Orange Park, under Obituaries.
