Life
My husband and I live in the High Desert (Hesperia) on a half acre (since July, 2004). He builds street rods and needed garage space! Between the workshop that was already here and the 4 car garage added to it, he now has 1200 sq. ft. of play space. I have the house!! I started riding horses again 4 yrs ago after 25 years. It is amazing and I'm having a great time. My mind remembers what I need to do, but my body is slow to follow. I'm riding Thoroughbreds who are ex-race horses now. They are such fun, but you have to be careful when you circle to the left! Had to give up riding horses 6 mos. ago. Never got thrown or fell off, but my fee...Expand for more
t got me into trouble. I kept tripping over dirt (didn't "they" say we'd outgrow the awkward stage at 14?) and wrecked my shoulder and broke three ribs. Now I can only play on the ground and watch my stupid feet. We have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Granchildren are so much fun and they go home. I only have 2 of them living out of state. A 21yr. old granddaughter in Wisconsin (her mother broke the 2 hour rule) and a 12 yr. old grandson in Colorado (long story about that one, he lives with his mother who is not one of mine!).
