Susan's Story
Since high school I am most proud of being a mother of two beautiful children: my son, Dalton and daughter, Sara. They truly have added new meaning to my life.
I met my husband when I was 15 while babysitting his neice, my neighbor. 12 years later we got married.
People might be surprised to know that I am a runner. Eventhough I was athletic in high school ( I played field hockey, basketball, lacrosse and softball), running was never a strength or an interest to me. Now I am hooked. I thrive with runs over 10 miles and plan to run my first marathon this October 08.
Probably not a surprise for people who knew me in high school and college, I still love to write. I am currently learning to write grants for TTI Environmental, Inc. (the compa...Expand for more
ny I work for). I also love to write in my journal and to my children.
When I make the time, I enjoy scrapbooking. What better way to be creative with your memories!
I have many fond memories of high school probably too many to mention but playing sports, hanging at the liquor store for my parents to pick me up from the late-late bus, having the 2 campuses, our graduation party at Lake Oswego.
At Lock Haven University, I most cherish the amazing people I met there and have maintained great friendships. I will never forget the Havenscope memories, trips to Pittsburgh and Boston. My internships in Cherry Hill and KYW-3 and my job at Jersey Shore Broadcasting has made me the career person I am today. I am so gratefull I had those experiences.
