Susan's Story
Life
Born and raised in Scarsdale until age 12, I moved to California with my mom Benedict Canyon to start the 8th grade. Went to Emerson and Uni High but was in the IPS program the last 1/1/2 years. Graduated early and went to UC Berkeley, majoring in Psychology. Left after one quarter to pursue the music industry in LA for 6 years...did PR/aritist realtions and A&R. It was fun but decided to get married, go back to school at UC Davis, graduated in 1982 (couldn't fit in the desks-had my son right before the last quarter ended. Went to Stanford where I got my masters in Communications Research. Moved back to Davis, bought a house in 1986 to provide stability for my son. The only way to get work there was to get a French director and set up my SARL. My dream is to go back and forth and keep my house here and have another near Paris or the South of France. My son is now 20, gorgeous and super intelligent and going to UC Davis.
College
I went to Berkeley right after high school (graduated from Uni High early) but dropped out after one quarter to work in Los Angeles in the music industry. I went back to UC Davis in 1980 and finished in 1982 when my son was born. I went to Stanford in 1983 and got my master's in communication research in 1985.
