Susan's Story
Susan is from Estes Park, Colorado. She is married to Eric Adler. Her schools include Scottsdale High School. She later attended Occidental College (Comparative Literature). University of Hong Kong (Certificate in Psychology), and the University of Vermont (Ph.D. in Psychology). She works(ed) at University of Vermont, College of Education and Social Services, and has her own consulting firm, Yuan & Associates, LLC. She has three grown children, two grown step-children, and a total of 5 grandchildren, residing in Hong Kong, London, and Palo Alto. Her son, Andreas, who is 39 years old, has Angelman Syndrome, and divides his time between her and a care provider in Vermont.
Susan's interests include the Chinese culture, Viola, Knitting, Hiking. She plays in two local orchestras, and participates in disability rights advocacy, both in Vermont and nationally.
