First, a couple of thoughts about then.....
I went to Charleston Elementary and have some great memories of that...even being cheerleader with Trinda Freel. I would like to reconnect with her and have been searching for her online. Another person I would like to see from there is James Wilkinson... I always wondered what happened to him.
While attending the junior high in Empire, I remember being on a bus bound for a choir concert and the bus hitting the side of the bridge and knocking off the mirror. I seem to remember a few screams and gasps...
I loved attending Marshfield. I liked most of my classmates and I liked most of my teachers. I remember asking Steve Prefontaine to the Sadie Hawkins and he accepted! We went to a pizza parlor for dinner before the dance. I had a marvelous time...
For my 50th birthday party (60s themed party was a BLAST), Robert Botta cam...Expand for more
e and celebrated with me and my family. We've know each other since we were in 5th grade. :) Another one of my childhood friends, Suzette Andre, now lives about 20 miles from me. We have reconnected and are good friends again... it's been great. In the middle of August LeEster Wright, Donna Applebee and I are going to have lunch together and reminisce.
Second, a couple of thoughts for the now.....
I was married for 28 years the first time. I have now been married a second time to my soulmate Paul for 12 years. We attend Corvallis Seventh Day Adventist church and have a strong faith in God. Between us we have six children, 13 grandchildren and a year old great-granddaughter. :) We own a couple of businesses and have a happy life. Paul and I started playing guitar together 2 1/2 years ago and are having a blast.
