I'm not in Grafton anymore. The world has opened up for me so to speak. You can find me on a little island in very southern Louisiana. Been here for 7 yrs . I have found its not so bad doing the laundry when it's by docks at the bay.Where I could wash cloths and watch the dolphins ,pelicans and boats pass.Not so many dolphins or pelicans . The oil spill has done some major damage to the gulf. Its truly messed up our peace and quite . Sometimes it really is worth taking a chance and following your dreams. My two sons are both grown. It has been a challenge at times.I have dealt with my home being hit with 4 maj...Expand for more
or hurricanes .I hope none of you ever have to go through anything like that. . I did learn i can do it and go one. I now have had to deal with the largest catastrophe in the USA. i live at ground zero. its been a nightmare. its not like the hurricanes they come and go and you clean up what you have left. this just keeps going on and on and then the government lets them poison us. This is more of a night mare than anything that could happen. . The biggest thing I have learned is that lemons really can be made into lemonade. Would love to hear from some of you. The best way I found to blow off steam is to walk to the beach and keep walking till i feel better My hero is a 85 yr old lady that lost her son and husband two homes to a hurricane. all in one year.. and kept on going most the time with a smile.

It is with heavy heart I find i have to bid my dear friend/sister to the heavens. She lost her fight with cancer Sunday. Pam , Bev and i spent many a good time together . And pulled each other through some pretty tough time
Think Mike enjoyed his day for sure. He already finished the jello shot . :)
