Susan's Story
Life
I have remained in this area my entire life. I lived in La Grange for 14 years and then in Kinston for 12 years. I moved back to Goldsboro in 1998. I worked at Wayne Community College for 26 years and retired November 1, 2005 after 33 years with the state. I can hardly believe that so much time has passed.
I have one daughter, Jennifer, who is married and has one son (Jackson aged four)...Expand for more
and a daughter (Mallie) who was born Oct. 21, 2005 . I have to admit that I didn't look forward to having the title "Grandma", but am totally smitten with my grandchildren and now wear that title proudly.
I am currently single and enjoying every minute of retired life. I never imagined myself in this position but I love it. I love the beach and am tossing around the idea of moving to the coast.
