Susan's Story
Life
I currently reside in Billings,Montana with my husband of 15 years and three children. We have a son 14, a daughter 9, and a daughter 5. We own our own business,Northern Lights Express,a livestock transportation company...Matt hauls livestock accross the country and I get the task of Bookeeping and finances. We moved back to Montana after my husband ended his tour in the Marine Corps in El Toro California. I started college to become an English tacher but decided to go into business for myself...paid off! After High School and a brief stay in the military I moved out to California where I lived and worked until I met my husband (who is originally from Montana).

We are still residing in Billings,MT and continuing with our business. Our oldest son is turning 17 in May and is a Junior in High School....My how time has a way of getting away from us! It's hard to believe that he will graduate next Spring! Getting older SUCKS!

What is Northern Lights Express? We are a trucking company. For the past 16 years we have hauled livestock all over the country. Just this year we moved our buisness to freight hauling. Wow, what a change. It is hard to stop thinking like a bullhauler even now that we don't have to! I guess what they say is true...."once a bullhauler, always a bullhauler"!
Ahead to 2010. What a difference a few years can make! We moved to Texas and bought a house. We no longer haul livestock but have switched to the oil fields. Sometimes you have to go where the money is...lol. My oldest daughter graduates in June of 2011 and our youngest is now a freshman. Where has the time gone!!! Oh, and as for Texas...if you like the change of seasons then this isn't the place to live! Never thought I would miss the snow and cold but I sure do!
Forward to 2011... the past year has flown by before our eyes! Our oldest daughter graduated from High School this month and is off to college in two weeks!!! Really makes a person feel old...lol...!!!Texas sucks just as much today as it did last year.. nothing has changed.
