David's Story
Life
I've been married to my husband David Swink since June 15, 1968. We have three children and one grandson who was born July 2001. He is a doll. I graduated from Wilcox in 1969, while my husband was in Viet Nam. After that we traveled all over the world. Living in Germany, Italy, South Africa, South America and all over the United states. Dave retired in 1983 and in 1984 I finally received my Bachlors. I then went to work in the Retirement Industry, first with Retirement Inns of America as a General Manager. y enjoyed my career but now I'm retired and stay busy with hobbies and church. We have a motor home and travel alot. We really enjoy it. Our roots our in Paxton, Il and we really love it. Its a little town of about 5,000. You can hear the church bells ring all over town. When we first moved here in 1990 you only had to dial 4 digits to call in town. We now even have one stoplight. Its a fun place to live. Our daughter Davina is a rn. Our son Fred is living in Utah and works for UTA. Our youngest son Casey works as a supervisor in security. Our first grandchild was born in July of 2001.
