Susan's Story
Life
Got married, had two boys now ages 33 and 30, got divorced, dated someone for almost 13 years before he decided the grass was greener somewhere else with someone else, but its his loss as everyone tells me. I'm trying to build a new life. Keep busy with work, took up yoga, will be traveling more now that I don't have to worry about someone else. I enjoy my time with my grandson who will 2 in April. He may have a sibling in the near future as my son wants to expand the family.
School
Mr Dave Eddy inspired me the most with Mr. Wong a close second. Mr. Eddy retired from Piedmont Hills in 2003, and Mr. Wong retired but still works at the school mentoring new teachers.
College

ty of San Francisco, didn't like living in SF, came home, went to San Jose City College, then ended up at Evergreen Valley College where I got me A.S. in Accounting. Thinking about getting my business degree, but finding the time from work is difficult.
Workplace
I have been working in the payroll field on and off for the last 27 years. I have worked for a number of companies due to layoffs and closures and a few voluntary job changes. I have been working at Cisco for 7 years and have avoided 2 layoffs. I manage the Global Acquisitions from a payroll perspective. I have learned from the bottom up, so I very well versed in all aspects of payroll. Hopefully there will be payroll jobs available in the US until I am ready to retire.
