Susan Langford:

CLASS OF 1972
Lakeland, FL

Susan's Story

After graduating from LHS in "72, I went to dental hygiene school in St. Petersburg, graduated, moved to Philadelphia for 3 years, and then back to Lakeland where I lived and worked until 1991. Then moved to Orlando - moved to CO in 2004 and love it here! I live in Redstone - about 12 miles from Aspen, as the crow flies - almost 40 by car. Amazing place to live. Totally awesome!! I am currently taking care of the children of a family in Snowmass and going to school. I have been mostly unemployed for three years after losing my job as dental hygienist in Aspen. I have three children - Paul, who lives in Tampa, graduate...Expand for more
d from USF, and is married. Cole, who will graduate from Colorado State in May. Caitlin, who has two more years of college at Colorado State. I go back to FL at least once a year to see family and go to the beach. I do need my beach fix. The summers here are filled with lots of great activities. I love to hike the many trails - always a favorite. Biking is the best. And then there's the rafting or just enjoying the outside while camping, cooking out or doing nothing. For a Florida girl, I've learned to enjoy the winter alto I do not ski - bad knees - but snowshoe lots. Redstone is a winter wonderland. Life is good!
