Zen Wisdom:
A half empty glass is no way to go through life.
GO BUCKS!!
We have 2 wonderful sons - Seth a 27 y.o. graduate of Indiana University in the Kelly School of Business majoring in Finance - a member of his Great Grandfather Cooper's and Grandfather Cooper's beloved Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He is now living in Chicago and working for The Claro Group as a Senior Consultant. Josh is 23 and is a graduate of Michigan State University majoring in accounting at the Broad School of Business. HEY - at least he didn't choose that OTHER school up North! He is an accountant working for the Franklin County Municipal Clerk of Courts.
"Life Structure Readjustment" time! We moved 4 years ago to the condo that we built and love it. I trained for 5 years and competed in rhythm and smooth ballroom dancing: Practice,Practice,Practice!! (ABC TV's - Dancing with the Stars - WATCH OUT!! LOL!!) I competed at The 2004 Ohio Star Ball Dance Championships in Columbus, the largest Pro/Am competition in the world. Quite the experience. I also competed in Las Vegas - March 2004 and 2005 at the Arthur Murray World Dance-O-Rama. I have "retired" from dancing as of May 2008 due to some knee ligament problems! But I may try it again and see if I can get back into it if my knee behaves.
I enjoy going out for our monthly coffee with my friends - the "Domestic Goddesses" and like to surf the net. I have many projects that I haven't gotten to yet - you know - putting all those pictures in creative scrapbooks - I have all the stuff but not all the time! I take a mat pilates class two times a week to try and stay limber!!! I just got done doing a stint as the first president of our condo association. The first year of an association forming is quite the challenge! I listen to Glenn Beck's national radio show in the morning - "Hello...you sick freak!" and his TV show, O'Reilly, HBO's "Entourage" - Jeremy Piven's hysterical! "Curb Your Enthusiasm" - great writing. Dancing with the Stars (of course), Nurse Jackie, The Killing, Boardwalk, Damages, Modern Family, Weeds, South Park, Burn Notice,. Still listen to top 40 and classic rock, and of course 70's "oldies"!

Workplace
I worked at OSU Hospitals in the Coronary Intensive Care
Unit as a student nurse and then as a charge nurse after I
graduated. Met my husband in July 1974 the first day of
his internship after my first year of nursing school.
Yeah, I know, the usual doctor marries nurse story. Also taught
clinical nursing skills for two years at the OSU School of
Nursing. Worked part-time in Coronary Intensive Care at
Grant Hospital CICU. I then became a "domestic engineer" and
stayed home to raise my boys!!
