Susan's Story
Life
I love living in Seattle! Outdoor activities are awesome here. (No more skiing on golf courses like in Illinois- we have the real stuff/mountains just 45 minutes away.) We are also able to go boating throughout the San Juan Islands for wonderful long weekends with breathtaking views.
I moved out this way after meeting my husband, Scott, who is from the San Francisco Bay area. I am definitely a west coast girl- I love the outdoors, ocean, relaxed lifestyle, and healthy food ( I now am a vegetarian.) I followed the career path I chose early in life and work in healthcare in occupational therapy. I am active in my church, teaching sunday school and singing in our praise band. The band is a lot of fun because we play contemporary music and get to do a lot of improv stuff. I am currently attemping to learn how to play my first instrument, the harmonica. Speaking of music, I am also a die-hard American Idol junkie!
Sports are still a big part of my life. My husband and I play co-ed soccer, snow ski, go mountain biking, hiking, and boating.
