Susan's Story
Life
I am an elementary teacher in Kingston and have resided here since attending Queen's University. My eldest son graduated from Queen's in 2004 and my daughter will graduate in April 2007 from nursing. My youngest son is in grade 7 in a challenge program just north of Kingston. My husband is a Police officer presently with the R.O.P.E. squad in eastern Ontario.
In my free time, I am busy traveling to soccer and hockey games with Nate.(12 year old). His soccer team is traveling to Holland in the March break, so we are very excited about traveling overseas. tt, was drafted into the CFL and has played a season with the now-defunct Ottawa Renegades and most recently with the Grey Cup winning BClions. He is returning to training camp in May- so watch for #93 Matt Kirk. He plays some special teams and is a back-up defensive tackle. We visited him in Vancouver last summer and got to see him play at BC Place Stadium. In my spare time I enjoy going for workouts at the Y.M.C.A. Teaching has been challenging and consuming but overall a very rewarding profession. Being away from Toronto except for family visits has not been conducive to maintaining contact with high school friends. So I hope I hear from some of you through this website!
