Life
OK...quick version...
Graduated college (Umass/Amherst), worked in social services (MA), moved to AZ and went back to school for Graphic Arts, eventually became the art director at a Tempe Newspaper. Met my husband and moved to CA (Newport Beach and Rancho Santa Margarita), took a job at Intex Corp (graphic designer) and shortly there after, decided I would work at being a stay at home mom (much to my suprise!) It was a difficult transition but now that I'm in my 9th year I've really gotten the hang of it. I fill my time with volunteering at school, co-leading a girl scout troop and working in my art room. I'm a member of several guilds and love to work with Poly...Expand for more
mer Clay. I sell my polymer pieces at local shows and a Baltimore Gallery. I teach polymer at a couple local stores and teach a craft class at a nursing home (you gotta love the student that can't hear, see or crimp a bead. This is certainly one of the highlights in my week...It's very exciting to see how proud they are of their work). Fun time for the family usually consists of travel, photography, hiking and camping, (and if I have to hear another story about a Pokemon or a Neopet I think my head will pop off), we can also be found playing Mario on our DS's (ya ya ya...we all had to buy our own...pretty serious bunch here! Well, hubby and daughter are, I stink at it!)
