Susan's Story

Life When I left Mill Plain Elem, I left a lot of great friends. I actually graduated from Hood River High in Oregon, but as you can see I never forgot my friends in Vancouver. After I graduated, I obtained a position in Civil Service (working for the U S Navy). I retired in 2004 after giving them 31 years of my life. I was never blessed with children, but I have a fantastic husband and two dogs (one is a mix of shih tzu and Japanese Chin, the other is pure Japanese Chin). When we were in the fifth grade, we were given group projects. My group had the "airplane". It was then that I discovered how much I wanted to travel the world. ng Kong, the Phillipines, Mexico, Canada, the British Isles and Paris France. Here in the states I have lived in Oregon, Bremerton WA, Southern California, Arizona, Virginia, Louisiana, and currently I am in Houston TX. However, within a year or two I will be back in Washington. Next April we are heading to the great northwest to look for property somewhere between Battleground and Kalama. I would like very much to reconnect with some of my old friends. Of the people listed, I recognize the names of Sandy Barnes, Janice MacArthur, Bill Askim, Bill Schultz, Glen Harding and Monty Starkey. I am also interested in the whereabouts of Gail Waterland, Florence Morse and Gaylen Clarke.
