Susan's Story
Life
After graduation, I attended college, then went on to a teaching career with the Pittsburgh Public Schools. Most of my career was at Langley High. During vacations, I traveled to many island destinations including: Hawaii, 2X; Cancun, 6X; Grand Cayman, 3X; Cayman Brac; Jamaica; Nassau, 3X; Aruba, 2X; St. Lucia; and Roatan(off the coast of Honduras), 5X. During these trips I avidly pursued my passion for SCUBA. I had a very fulfilling career, that I have since retired from and now enjoy working in the garden that I have created around my house. Life has been and continues to be very good to me.

ion. This was a wonderful time and I enjoyed every aspect of college life. It prepared me well for my profession teaching in the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
Retirement
I love retirement! Although, I do have two great little jobs that I do each year in the spring and fall. These are fun jobs for me with people I enjoy. In the spring, I work at the DRC, a company that scores the yearly progress tests taken in schools. And, in the fall, I run the scoreboard at Cupples Stadium on the South Side. I operate the scoreboard for all Pittsburgh Public School football games and soccer games. During the summer, I enjoy working in my garden and I also enjoy walking and playing with my pomeranian, Precious.
