Life I was quiet and shy in high school, though I've overcome that, and did public speaking. I've been happily married for 45 years, have 2 sons, one married, and an adorable grandson and beautiful grandaughter around whom the world revolves. We live in the Wausau area, and have a home on Hilton Head Island which draws us there more and more. I retired from Hospice in 2004, so we are more free to travel. I am a writer and had a column in the newspaper for almost 20 years. I hope to continue work on my novel, but rarely make time. I've started painting and found that my lack of talent does not keep me from being prolific and enjoying the experience. I've actually sold two paintings - no accounting for taste I guess. We are in good health, though things continue to fall off, out or down and we have to go in for repairs. I had some good friends in high school, and wanted to get to know others better, but was too shy. It has been nice to read about the people who fulfilled their dreams.
