Susan's Story
There is not much to tell about who I am, but the best way is to say it is I am the daughter of Charlie Hendrix a man of great strength, knowledge, and insight and a former slave. I am also the daughter of a virtuous woman Pearl Hendrix who taught me how to be a woman.
My parents were my best friends and biggest inspiration to succeed in life. After completing high school I attended college and received my Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration and I am now working on my Master degree and I plan on working on my PhD.

a durable medical equipment company, which serviced the greater metropolitan Detroit area. I was married for over 17 years; and the best part of my marriage was my daughter Brittany Alicia who is attending Wayne State University, she is majoring in Journalism.
In life we all go through challenges and the greatest challenge that I went through along with my siblings was the passing of our parents.
There is not a day that goes by that I donÿt think about them along with what they taught me which was to stand for something and not to fall for anything.
