Susan's Story
Life
I manage one of the ten best genealogy libraries in the nation, the Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research, Houston Public Library, Houston, TX. I have a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science From Dominican University in River Forest, IL.
Since high school I have lived in Carbondale, IL, Peoria, IL, Fort Wayne, IN and now Houston. I started working as a genealogy librarian in Peoria, moved to the largest genealogy collection in a public library in the nation in Fort Wayne, IN, and ...Expand for more
then to Houston. Librianship has been my career since college, I started working in libraries at SIU. My UG degree is in Criminal Justice. I never used it. ;-)
I moved to Texas at the end of 2005 to live with my college boyfriend from SIU after 18 years apart. I have no children, I have cats.
However, I have been married 3 times. I am not now.
My mom died in 1994, my sister Ilene is married and has a 5 year old boy, lives in Round Lake, IL. My Dad has a house in North Carolina and one in Florida.
