Life
Hi,
It's been a long time, but thought I'd check in with you all. Yes, I married Bill Blackwell, Jr. No, we divorced in 1973 and I remarried. I have a total of 3 sons now. Bill and I have 2 sons, Bill, III, and David. Ron and I have a son Ron, Jr who is also married and a welder in WV. They are doing well; they are married, and have children.
I worked for US Civil Service for 9 years; then retired due to a back disability. I've been teaching at the community college for 4 years, before needing additional back surgery.
I had my own business for 15 years in consulting and small business, doing incorporations, accounting, auditing, working with small business, solving problems, and extensive research and thesis writing.
Besides living in good ol' Hampton, I've lived in Alaska, California, Germany and now back in VA. I live in Emporia now.
Yes, I remarried a military man who completed his military career of 20 years at the age of 38. He and I opened a Hallmark Shop here 20 years ago to be with my dad after my mother's sudden death and here we are.

year old grandson . He looks forward to his "Nanny" visits! Two of my sons live 5 miles into WV and one lives in Williamsburg, VA. Billy just told me this week that I will be a grandmother again soon. I can hardly wait.
My health has been bad since 1973 and in 2005 I underwent a gastric bypass surgery as my many doctors said I had to have. I have lost 110 lbs and love my size 10-12 dresses.
Bill remarried, and has numerous step children and grandchildren. He is very happy and we keep in touch. Our families get along great and we are happy about that.
I graduated with my BS in Organizational Management, in addition to two other degrees. I have taught in the VA Community College for several years. I teach Information Technology, Accounting, Business Management, and Music Appreciation
HOBBIES:
I enjoy genealogy and have traced back 18 generations. I want to travel and have fun. Unfortunately, after Ron finish his day as an instructor, he wants to stay home with his beer and war games on his computer. I am active in my church and swim twice a week.
