Susan's Story

Larry and I moved down to Arizona in September of 2018. Our son JR wanted us to be closer to him and his fiancee' (now wife) so they moved us down. They were married in April of 2019 and had their first baby, a son, in December 2020. He is growing up soooo fast and is precious. In July 2023 they had their 2nd son. It is soooo beautiful here and I enjoy the beauty of the desert every day. Larry had Dementia and suddenly had a few problems, from his Dementia, in September of 2023, and went into Hospice. Just over a week in Hospice, he passed away peacefully with me at his side. I am very lucky to live near our son, daughter-in-law, and their two young sons as...Expand for more
well as her loving family. I enjoy playing my 'puter games, some games on my tablet, and I keep busy with my knitting and crocheting. Yes, I do both. We have family near by and have get togethers fairly often which I really enjoy. I have a Moluccan Cockatoo, a Yellow Nape Amazon Parrot, an older dog that is part Chihuahua and part Rat Terrier, and an older cat. I just got a Yorkie puppy so am very excited about my new fur baby. He is always up to mischief but is soooo cute. On May 14th, 2024, I found out that my daughter April Reinholdt had suddenly passed away the evening before. She was 53 years old. She hadn't been in touch with me for several years.
