Susan's Story

fun fact about me...... Walked in the Brazil rain forest, swam in the Amazon, off the coast of a tiny island off Brazil called Cotjuba. We have missionary friends there. Been there three times. Retired from nursing several years ago, was an on call RN, for Crossroads Hospice. traveled Springfield to Eaton, Ohio, east west and Piqua to Lebanon, north south. I loved my job, hated the paperwork. I married my friend from the Belmont neighborhood Denny Mathes who lived on Pleasant...Expand for more
view behind the Dabel theater. He always had cool cars and still does. We own a 1970 Plymouth Superbird and a 2005 Crossfire, my baby. We have lived in Centerville for about 38 years, and raised our kids here. We have 6 grandkids and one precious great grandchild. Presently, my mother is 90 and lives in an apartment added to our house. She is awesome and I am glad she is near. I am the most blessed woman to have five generations alive in my family.looking forward to the 50th.

Jordan, James girl played soccer at Ankeney field, three times this weekend. Won 2 of 3 games. Plays with Galaxy teams. Coming back after a torn ACL last May. Still wears support on her leg. Great kid!
