Susan's Story

Life Since graduating from Babbitt I went on to nursing school at St. Luke's in Duluth where I recieved my RN. I worked in Duluth for a year before moving to St. Paul where I worked as an RN until 1991 when I transitioned into the Education Dept. I return to school for my RN to BSN at Augsburg College graduating in 2003 and then continued on for my Master of Arts in Transcultural Community Nursing. My position with United Hospital is as a Professional Development Specialist. I am teaching part time...Expand for more
at Augsburg RN to BSN program and am in the Doctorate in Nursing Practice post graduate program as a student. Terry and I have been married 33 years as of Aug. 16, 2008. We live in Brooklyn Park and have since 1976. On our anniversary I caught this 18# lake trout at Stormy Lake Ontario. We have 3 children Tara, 29, married to Todd Harrison, John, 25, and Karl 17. John is engaged to Lah Phonthisone and will marry in a Laotian tradition wedding next June. Lil'D our pooch is the king of the house.
