Susan's Story
School
I was very shy in high school, and didn't have many friends. I loved to have fun and I went to all the football games. I guess I was a late bloomer, but boy did I make up for lost time! HA HA HA! Does anyone remember the "MIRAGE" on VN Blvd? It was a nightclub of sorts, girls had to be 18 and guys 21? Spent a lot of time there.
College
I majored in special education and used it to some degree after the failure of my first marriage. I am glad I went to college and I am very happy in my cur...Expand for more
rent work position.
Workplace
I am an eligibility worker for the county. My job is to make sure that my 400 + clients adhere to the rules and regulations that the state has laid out for this program to continue to make them eligible. I have been doing this for almost 17 years. And most of the time I enjoy it. The state has become automated and it is a large mess, because a lot of the programs do not work in the computer program. So I also handle those clients. It can be rewarding and frustrating.
