Susan's Story

Life Hi friends of CHS '67!! My husband of 24 years, died in April of '03. I recently moved in with ANOTHER Fred (!), in Sun Lakes, Arizona, a little south of Phoenix, and north of Tucson. No more animals YET, but we travel alot, and I just returned from a European cruise, and a week in New Mexico, taking a rock sculpting course! I love this area, the desert, and all the people here. passionate about everything I do, and more energetic than ever. I got sober in Alcoholics Anonymous, 21 years ago, and my life changed forever. I am SOOOO grateful I have this program! I would not be the woman I am today. Had breast cancer surgery 7 years ago, reconstructive two years later. Could not have gone through this/without my friends in AA! Hope to hear from you soon!
