Life
Back ground:
Grew up all over the US (Dad was an aviator with the Marines, Steve my brother was Top Gun and an instructor at Miramar before flying for Northrup, Continental, and now Fed Ex, our two nephews are now marines-!!), attended the University of Tennessee (liberal arts/pre-nursing) 2 years then went to Atlanta and got a degree in Fashion Arts and Merchandising.
Work:
A dental assistant while in high school/college, ground hostess for Eastern Airlines (Atlanta), Model and Special Representative for Revlon (New York City), Nat'l Sales Manager for Braswell, Inc. (a multi million dollar nutrition company). Later I designed my own line of lingerie for Neiman Marcus in San Francisco, while living in the foothills in Nevada City, California where I had my own business "A Work of Heart". signed my own patterns, taught French Heirloom Sewing techniques in US and as far away as Australia. Retired now I am currently setting up an Etsy Shop to sell the patterns I designed.
I enjoy:
My friends, Classical Music, love songs of the 60's and 70's, spiritual practices like meditation and yoga (I've practiced for over 30 years -!!), Natural Foods (been a veggie since the early 70's) and good wine, Natural Healing modalities, (you could say I'm a 100% Natural Health Nut), my cat and life in general...
Most of all I enjoy my retired life with Greg. We met when I moved to this area in 1997 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. We travel, go to Mass, show his vintage car and enjoy our friends and family.
