Susan's Story
Life
After high school, my dad's job caused us to move to Memphis, TN. In 1979 I worked in the hotel business (like my dad) and I ended up back in Lexington, KY with my parents and youngest sister in 1979. I got married in 1980, had 2 children. I was a stay at home mom til my kids were little older then I started working in offices as billing clerk, administrative assistant, etc. I got divorced in 1995. Met my (now) husband in 1997, we got married in 1998. Still married and living in Winchester, KY. I don't work now, I am on disability for several health issues. We are dog lovers. My son is now 39 years old and he has a son born in 2012 and my daughter is 35 years old. She graduated May 2007. She gave birth to her first child and my first grandchild on Jan. 2008. School
I wasn't an A student. But I did the best I could. I was always on the shy side (until I got out of school...lol)
My favorite teacher that I had in high school, she taught me about life not just PE and Health, was Marilyn LeMaster. We kept in contact til her death in 2006. She used to babysit my kids when they were smaller. But she had an impact on my life.
College
I did not attent college. I took a few night classes at EKU for sign language (my church sent me).
Workplace
Since high school I have worked at front desk of hotels and as Administrative Assistant in several different jobs and billing. I always liked working with the public. In 2002 I lost my job due to medical reasons. I am now on disability due to having osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, Type 2 Diabetes,etc.
