Susan's Story
Life
After high school, I went to college for a couple of years until I got married at 19. We lived in Europe, since the Army posted him in France. Wonderful experience for a kid!
Unfortunately, when we returned to the States, I worked, but he didn't. I kept our French poodle & moved on.
I travelled a lot during my single years, working & dating until I met someone I thought would be a good husband. Again,I worked but he retired after our wedding. Deciding not to support his ex-wife & 2 sons, I bid adios to #2.
Finally, I found a handsome, loving & generous man with whom I've spent the last 25 years very happily. We've travelled all over the world, but after 9/11, we decided to concentrate on o...Expand for more

I wrote the above about 5 years ago. Since then, my beloved husband passed on, and I've been a widow for a little over a year. Some of my grandkids brought me to their tattoo parlor so I could have Bill's name placed over my heart.
Went skydiving with one of my grandsons, taking more cruises & visiting friends around the country.
Met President Obama at a fundraiser-told him a joke & have a great picture with both of us laughing.
Trying to keep busy, but not a day goes by without me missing the love of my life.
