I was working for local TV stations and agencies and also doing a part-time thing at the Mining Shack...met a lot of people in the music and broadcast industries. Free tickets to whatever, lavish parties, free trips and cruises-lots of perks that I was happy to take advantage of! In '97 I opened my own successful Media Planning & buying business and elected to retire this year. I'm married with two stepchildren and five grandchildren. And I have four great nieces (8,5 and 4yr old twins-what a hoot!) so I think we will stay busy in our retirement years!
