Susan's Story
Life
I attended both St. John's Grammar School and the High School. After High School I attended City College as an Art major, one semester at Lone Mountain and then went to S.F. State. Next I joined the Army as a Medic and then an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I met my husband ( a civilian) while stationed in Washington D.C. My last year in the Army I was stationed at Letterman in S.F. When I got out I returned to S.F. State and got two teaching Credentials. ohn's Elementary School as the Librarian and Resource Teacher from June 1995 to June 2005. My husband's name is Waldo and we have a daughter, Lucinda, born in 1981, currently in the USAF. We shared our home with 3 rambunctious cats who keep us in stitches with their antics until 2010 when they each became ill and we had to put them down. They were 17 years and one was 13 years. Long lives for cats.
Also, and more important, we had a Granddaughter born. Now we also have a grandson. Being a Grandparent is the best.
