Let's see....what's new? My older son just celebrated his 23rd. birthday in March and my younger son is now officially driving....with a permit....but still. Makes a mom's nerves a little frazzled!!
Camping season is fast coming up for us. We're spending 4 days up at Lake McSwain this weekend for my birthday. YAY!!! Love it up there!! It's supposed to be heading into the high 80's for this weekend....April 26 - 29th. Can't wait!!
The girls in my family will be doing the Race For The Cure again this year. Our Auntie is still fighting this crappy cancer.
I have a new niece who was born this past Tuesday. She's a little angel!!

I work as a nutrition consultant for Jenny Craig. I spent 18 years as a Registered Dental Assistant. I got kind of tired of dentistry so decided to make a change. I'm actually going back to college to get a degree in Animal Science. Those of you who really knew me well knew I have a love for animals. I figure if I have to work for a living I want to do something I love to do.
In my spare time I help out several animal rescue groups. My hubby and I help out with transporting and relocating dogs and cats. We'll be moving to Merced, CA here in the near future and will be living out in the country. I'll be able to expand my rescue efforts to horses and some smaller livestock. Will be a dream come true. College is fun too. It's way different than it was when I was in my 20's.
