Susan's Story
I currently live in northern Michigan after retiring from the Livonia Public Schools as a special education teacher, last year. My husband,Doug of 35 years, retired 2 years ago from the State of Michigan Mental Health (Hawthorn Center) as a child psychiatric nurse. We have one child, Benjamin, age 30, who lives in Chicago, Il. and is a graphic designer.
We just bought a home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. as the winters up here are pretty gru...Expand for more
esome and there isn't much to do. We also have a 32 ft. C class RV which we enjoy going camping/traveling in.
We have 3 dogs, a black pug, a fawn pug, and a dachund/beagle mix who lost her leg in a fall off my my son's roof(deck in Chicago) and we adopted it from him.
I still see some of my pals from Thurston, Robin D'Ascenzo, Kathi Brent, Sharon Barbara, Barb Lawrence, Sandi Heidemous, and Rob Millington and Lora Stowe who live up here.
