Susan's Story
My name is susan Sapsis Umphenour. I live in Midland Tx and have been in Tx for over 40 years. I was married to Ted Kruhmin from 1952-1973 and to Harold umphenour from 1976-2004. Harold is now deseased ad is Ted. ted and I had 2 children Janet who is married (for 37 years) and lives in a suburb of Atlanta Ga. she has 2 children(grown). We aldo had a son Mark who lives in San Clemente CA and also has 2 children. I have been a widow for almost 5 years, own my home work as a care giver altho I am a retired RN, I do not care to go back to that hassle. I live with my 2 Doxies, amy and Patty , bowl twice a week at the local AMF bowling alley and belong to an organization from Hospice of Midland called Friends who Care. I also go out with a bunch of widders (widows) every month for dinner and chatting.

ol band director. We started RV'ing in 1977 and when we retired in 1991 we went full time, which means we lived in out RV and travelled the country. First stop was Alaska and from then on we were volunteer hosts at National Parks around the country. We loved in our RV for 10 years . How we came to Midland is a long story I have never liked Midland or TX for that matter but going back to Pa is not in my future That is about it for now . i would love to hear from some of the class of '50 > My best friend is Judy Mongomery (Seiver) and I am still in touch with Eleanor Young(Jordan) and Mary Lou Secrist ( Scheutler) Hard to believe I have known these friends for over 60 years. We knew each other at UDJr High. I also receive email from Sue Lorentz (Mylish) and if I ever get home again I hope to see her. All for now Thanks for writing , those of you that do. Sue
