Susan's Story
I currently reside in Aubrey TX and I work in Frisco as on Online Search Engine Editor (I write ads that appear on Google, Bing, Etc) I am a five year breast cancer survivor! My children (3 Kids and 8 grand kids) all reside near me. My oldest grandson is graduating high school in June - He is getting older - but I am not!!!
A couple of years ago I took two of my grand kids and my new puppy (Sam) on a road trip from Texas to Mackinaw City. We had a great time! Stopped in Frankenmuth for lunch. My heart will always be in Michigan. It was a great place to grow up. I had great friends and many wonderful adventures. Most people I know in Texas can't even imagine living in the cold weather. I miss not having four seasons. Down here is might be cold for a few days, short time of really nice weather then really hot weather! I will always remember going ice skating and sledding. I go to Santa Fe a couple of times a year and last year during spring break in March - part of my family piled into two cars and went there to do some...Expand for more
snow boarding and sledding - it was wonderful! My grandkids loved seeing their Nana sledding down the mountains! None of my grandkids have been in 6 foot snow drifts!
I have received notice of a joint class reunion in Sept 2012 - I think I will make arrangements to attend that one!
2015: Retired, due to office closing in 2013. Still living in Texas, thinking of relocating but not sure where! Need to figure out what to do in the final chapter of my life!!!
September (2015) is almost over and soon the year will be over and I am still trying to figure out my life! Still thinking about returning to Michigan or maybe Cleveland, where I lived for three years. Would love to find a tiny house to rent since I can live with very little! I work part time, enjoy my grandkids & my great grandson, but everyone is getting older, some are now in college, others in high school and don't need their "Nana" as much any more! Thinking of getting in my car with Sam & Max (my two furry 4-legged sons!) and just take off. Big decisions!!!!!
