Susan's Story

Hey Everyone!!! Thank you for stopping by my page. I hope to reunite with many of my classmates. Several already have contacted me and found me through other sites as well. You can also find me on FACE BOOK. It was good to see everyone at the recent gathering at Zorba's in 8-2011. Where have all the years gone? I am presently a fulltime housewife and was previously working at Harsco Rail for 15.5 yrs before they had a reduction in force and I was affected by it. But, life is good and I'm newly remarried and I am THANKFUL for my husband and family. Below is a qeustionare that was provided by Classmate.com - lit' tidbits of my life story. Classmate questions: How do you blow off steam off: By throwing a brush across the room (have a little temper tantrum, ha ha) and scream, I then take a long hot shower and get myself relaxed by watching a good movie or one of my favorite movies such as a "The Notebook" or I go SHOPPING!!!! Nothing like maxing the credit card in one day!!! ha ha (Kidding, don't worry Jeff, ha ha) The Wildest thing I ever did in high school was...I cut class every Friday in my senior year once I got my new (self paid) car and went to the lake with friends but before graduation, I was busted by school officials for finally realizing I was forging my mother's signature and I had missed 22 days of class. I was able to still graduate but I spend the last 2 days in the school slammer!! No fun! What a way to end your Senior year. ha ha - Also, another funny memory, Rodney (in profile pic) and I snuck out of class, and was about to get caught roaming the hallways so he pushed me into the boys room but we BOTH got caught anyway. I could of died!!! ha ha School official took us both to the principal's office and was let go after they were reassured we were not doing anything drug related. Oh, I never let him forget that one!!! ha ha Where did I live? Why did I move? I moved to SC in 79 with my family from Willowick, Ohio. In 83, within months of graduation I moved out and got married and we lived in several places including Saluda, Lexington, West Columbia. I will be relocating soon to Gaston, in Hidden Valley subdivision. Beautiful area. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again: will remain in my heart and because: we both still need forgiveness. I seen this person by chance for like 30 seconds at the mall over the Christmas holiday & our eye's met and I think we both realized we still needed that forgivene...Expand for more
ss but opportunity to talk didn't present itself. Sports. Reality TV. Pets. Share my obsessions. I enjoy NASCAR, Football and Baseball, I hate reality shows, I LOVE PETS, especially dogs. I also love wolves. I have several paintings by Carl Brenders. I love to go antiquing...something my 'now' husband, Jeff and I love to do, travel and go antiquing. Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. What's been your biggest surprise? I am no longer surprised by anything in life. I've been through so much that I've learn to expect the unexpected and that life sometimes bites!! But, my last pregnancy with Steve was my BIGGEST SURPRISE for sure. You get one do-ever, What would you do differently? I would of been smarter and educated myself more after I graduated high school. I also would of not given my heart away to those that were unworthy of me. Talk about your oldest friend and how you met and why you clicked. My oldest friend and I were two years old when we became 'best friends', she and I lived 4 houses down from each other in Ohio and we became life long best friends growing up together. We click because we know each other so well and will always have a sisterly bond. I love you, Theresa!!! Theresa will be my maid of honor 10-10-10 What would surprise everyone at your high school reunion? That Rodney, my best friend and I never married or had children. Everyone assumed we would marry someday. He once went to one of IHS Reunion and told some teachers we got married and had 6 kids!!! Imagine the shock those teachers shared!. He did love to pull on peoples legs. Updated: Rodney passed away in 2007 and I recently found his mother in Costa Rica and we are going there to visit her and together she and I will release his ashes above the Poas Volcano National Park. Childhood memory: Feeling the safest in my daddy's arms. And going to Strawberry Lane (park) sitting on the blankets with friends listening to my brother Frank sing & play the guitar and Billy waxing his car and Larry hanging out with his girlfriend. The 70's were the best of times!!! How do I hope old friends will remember me? I hope they remember me as being kind, loving and loyal and one who would help anyone out and was FUN to be with!!! Oh, the laughs we had in high school. Those were truly the best of times. My Hero: GOD, He gives me strength to face all life's challenges and the knowledge that I am not alone. He paid the price for our sins. He died for you and I.
