Susan's Story
I have been residing in the beautiful mountain town of Nelson, British Columbia, for the last 15 years. I was drawn here not only because of the natural beauty, but also because the Kootenays still has a reputation for being the marijuana capital of Canada. Just kidding. I am a lawyer and mediator. am the Past President of the Nelson Rotary Club. I have infilterated the old boys club but now that I'm here, I find that I don't like it very much. I would rather be in my cabin in the Slocan, I quit cigarettes 10 years ago and I quit drinking 15 years ago and I gave up coffee a 5 years ago. But I am certainly not boring.
