Susan's Story
After FHS, I attended and graduated Trenton State College and, Rutgers U. Grad. Sch. of Education. Married in 1973, worked as a reporter, a clerk typist and a library clerk before
our sons were born, 1976 and 1979. We moved to Illinois in 1980 for my husband's job.
After being a stay at home mom since 1976, I worked as a pre-school teacher from 1988 to 2010, when I retired. My husband is still working. We have two grandchildren, aged 6 and 3, whom we enjoy babysitting very much. Both sons live nearby so we see them frequently. One son is a teacher and our daughter in law is a music therapist. eting research analyst for a large company. In my spare time, I sing in two choirs, enjoying our most recent concert of music from the 50s and 60s.: ... My husband and I belong to a book group, and enjoy some of the cultural opportunities Chicago and Chicagoland have to offer and so far we've taken three interesting Road Scholar trips in the U.S. _New Mexico, Mackinac Island , Michigan and Charleston, S. C. , and a trip to England, Scotland and Wales.
I am looking forward to the reunion next month to meet classmates, people who shared
their youth with me and with whom I shared my years, anywhere from 1954 to 1967.
