Susan's Story
Life
My Spouse
Lee and I grew up together. We didn't like each other very much. My dad was his dad's boss and I thought I was a little bit "above" that dumb hillbilly boy.(Wow, was I mistaken)He joined the Marines in 1967 and I didn't see him for many years. Then one day, I met a handsome Marine at a friends house and guess who he turned out to be. Suddenly, we started to like each other. This year, 2000, we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary.
My Pets
Finally dwindling the pet down. Still have my horse, Cherokee. Two Pomeranians, Cubby (the dad) and Shadow (his pup). The dad is a really good dog, the son - not so much. He's really a knothead! Also have one pet deer, one chicken, and one rabbit that will probably outlive us all.
My Kids

me, and still live in Tyrone. Better yet, I have six grandkids. Rob, my oldest son, has Josh,Britani, and Victoria. My youngest son Jason has Rhett, Mason, and Korry. Grandkids are the best!! Uh oh, Now in 2002, I have to add a great grandchild. Josh has given us a little surprise package late this year!! wow, great-grandma at 53 - I love it.
My Job
I run my own business, manufacturing clothing for Ted Nugent's United Sportsmen and many local stores and individual hunters. As of 2009, I only run the business part-time. (Working toward retirement, HOORAY!) Spend most of my time now writing. Had my first book published in 2004. "Dress Blues" is my hubby's story of growing up in little old Warriors Mark and coming of age as a Marine in 'Nam. Also write a weekly humor column for the Tyrone Herald.
