Susan's Story
After graduating from WJ I entered the work force, secretarial, for several years until I was introduced to high end jewelry and design. I stayed in retail for nearly 50 years until I retired in '12. I never married and never left the area except to travel.
From 1993-1997 I was a competitive body builder.
I was been a volunteer at Walter Reed 2005-2015, with the Marine Corps League and solo. I am also the chaplain of the Chevy Chase Women's Republican Club.
For two years I wrote a column for a small town newspaper and now am the editor of our church seniors newsletter.

y Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at age 60 and life has been awesome with Him in my life.
In 2015 and again this year I offered to organize our class reunions. First our 50th, because no one else seemed to be planning one. It went so well that I've offered to repeat the event for our 52nd. With a room capacity we were full in less than a month. We gathered for our 54th in 2019 and will hold our 56th in July 2021.
At 47 I trained to compete in bodybuilding and did that for five years. It was unexpected but something I will never forget. Now that is but a memory and I am out of shape...LOL...but happy.
