Susan's Story

Life I am unsure what you know about me, so I'll start from the begining. I never graduated college, though I did attempt to. I just completely lost interest. Since graduating High School, I got married in '89 and moved to Illinois. In '91, I had a daughter named Jessica and in '98 I had a son, named Joey. I am a stay-at-home mom who is involved in their kids lives. My son is a deputy black belt in Tae Kwon Do and also enjoys hockey. He has some speech development delays and is blind in one eye so it makes his accomplishments all the more incredible. My daughter is a typical 14 year old. She loves the phone and using the computer. Oh yay, she also loves music...something I don't really understand. My husband is an electrician and also a Mason. In June he will become Master Mason of his Lodge. I am basicaly involved in my kids lives and that pretty much takes up my time. I am also involved in Breast Cancer Walks. ipated in a 3 day, 60 mile walk. The walk takes place in Kenosha, Wisconsin and ends up in Chicago. I have always participated as a crew captain. Having a team of up to 30 people trying to get lunch together for several thousand people in a rainstorm is actually fun! This year, I have taken on a different challenge, I have decided to walk in the 3day. You may be thinking that walking 25 miles in one day is nothing, but let me tell you it is something. I have started trainig and am anxious for the walk. My biggest fear is that I wont raise the necesary $2100. required to walk. If you know how to give me a hand or want to make a donation, please let me know. I could use all the help that I can possibly get. I woud love to hear from you. I often wonder how so and so is. I do receive the Meredith News (though it comes about two weeks after published) and get updated that way. But let a know what you're up to. Have a great one and take care.
