Susan's Story
Well, after high school I moved away to Los Angeles for about 7 years. I married my high school sweetheart, Timothy Jordan. He was class of 77. I'm sure most of you knew him and his sister, Cheryl Jordan. She was class of 76.
We moved back to the bay area in 1985 and shortly after my son was born. My daughter was born 15 months later. We then moved to Sunnyvale where we resided until 2007 when we ended up in Fremont, CA.
In October of 2003 Tim passed away. He died in his sleep from a heart attack. He was sick for about 7 years before that. He truly was the love of my life. We went through a lot of tough times together but we always saw the light at the end of the tunnel. We were together for 27 years.
Now, I live in the Sacramento area. I was laid off in March 2008 from Wachovia. I was an underwriting manager and since the real estate market went down I was one of those displaced individuals. I'm still looking so if anyone out there has a referral please message me. I'm good at analyzing, researching legal documents. Data entry, typing, Admin.
I also decided that I'm going back to school. It's been a long time but I think it's time. I want to work with young teens who are in the foster care system so I'm going back to get my degree in Psychology. Starting in the fall.

new outlook on life. I did a lot of soul searching and learned to never sweat the small stuff. Things have a way of working themselves out and I now understand how trivial it all can be. I tell the people closest to me how much I love them. I never want anymore regrets in my life so I look at everything that comes my way with an open heart. I stay positive, I stay happy and I have a new love in my life.
One of my favorite movies is "It's a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. It's a Christmas movie and it's about a man who doesn't think his life is worth living. He has dreams in his early years and slowly none of them come true because of his responsibilities to his family. He then tries to commit suicide and an angel comes to save him and let him see what life and all the people he knew would be like without him in the world. He learns that the little things he did in his lifetime were all important and how one person can change and effect another persons life so significantly. He discovers that life is worth living and what is really important in life. So when I look back at all the trials and tribulations in my life and the life lessons that I learned and still am learning, I see them as blessings and I have discovered that my life is a wonderful life. :-)
Peace and love always to all of you.
