Susan's Story
Life
A native of Wisconsin, I left the flatlands in 1987 to build a horse farm in the Connecticut Berkshires. The area is lush and green with rolling hills, stone fences and historic buildings, many dating from the 1700s. A local orchard, offering blueberries, peaches and apples, is a short downhill walk from my house. Thanks to our general proximity to New York City, there are great restaurants, jazz concerts and "local" theater productions.

owing herbs, making wine, reading and travel. Thanks to my husband's involvement with "historic cars", I have more than a passing interest in them too. My greatest passion, however, is raising and training Lipizzaners, a rare horse breed best known for performances with the Spanish Riding School of Vienna.
By day, I direct environmental compliance, HR, health and safety for an international manufacturer, at the forefront of power solutions for military and energy industries.
