Susan's Story

I hold a Masters of Science in Nursing. Married with 2 sons/daughter-in-laws and 7 grandchildren. I went to school in Cortez all my life from 1st through 11th grade, when I decided getting married was more important. What a fool I was at that age. I have lived in Texas the last 36 years. My husband Jerry is a deputy with the sheriffs department. I am a nursing department director at University Medical Center which is affiliated with Texas Tech as a teaching hospital. I always wanted to be a choir director when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. able to deal with the day-to-day. My inspiration comes from GOD as he is m hero The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Clara Ince, because we are both nurses. I love Survivor, Big Brother, Gray's Anatomy, and amazing Race If I won $100 million, I'd give 1/4 of it to my church, then spend the rest on Jerry, sons and myself. My current age is 56. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely fooled. My best friend would tell you I'm cool, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stuck-up. I share my home with my husband, which I find wonderful. In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by working.
